Network Classification
The following list presents major categories used for classifying networks.

The Chennai Corporation is situated in the Ripon Building in Chennai.
The Chennai Corporation is the oldest municipal body of the Commonwealth of Nations outside the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1688 to control the powers of the then Governor of Madras, Elihu Yale.[1] The Corporation was created by a Royal Charter issued on December 30, 1687 by King James II on the advice of the chairman of the British East India Company, Josiah Child.
Prior to the establishment of the corporation, the Governor of Madras or the Company's agent managed the affairs of the Fort St. George and its residents with the assistance of a headman, an accountant, and the head of watch and ward. The Governor sat as Madraspatnam's Justice of Peace. Taxes were introduced by Governor Streynsham Master (1678 - 81). Complications arising out of these cesses and the growing expenses of a growing town led to Sir Josiah drawing up plans for a more formal body of civic administration.
The corporation was inaugurated on September 29, 1688, when the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses took their oaths. The first representatives of the corporation were from diverse ethnicities. Nathaniel Higginson was the first Mayor and he appointed representatives from British, French, Portuguese, as well as Indian mercantile communities as Aldermen. The post of the Mayor was for one year and he was elected by the Aldermen. The tenure of the Aldermen was for life.
By 1856, the duties of the Corporation became more clearly defined. By 1919, the Aldermen were re-named as Councillors. The name 'Mayor' had been replaced by 'President'. P. Theagaraya Chetty was nominated as President, the first Indian to be nominated so. The office of Mayor was however re-created in 1933 and Kumararajah M.A. Muthiah Chettiar made the transition from last President to first new Mayor - and the mayoralty has remained thereafter.
In 1913, the Corporation moved to the newly constructed Ripon Building, which was built on parts of People's Park. The building was named after Lord Ripon who, as Viceroy (1880-84), had introduced local government reforms. He is remembered in a statue in the Corporation precincts.

Cerita rakyat is a form of folklore found in Indonesia. Its origins are probably an oral culture, with a range of stories of heroes associated with Wayang and other forms of theatre, transmitted outside of a written culture. They have been collected and used in the Indonesian education system, in small cheap books, usually tied in with a district or region of Indonesia.
Many stories explain events or establish moral allegories from iconic or symbolic characters of the past. They also seek to explain the origins of names of people and places from Folk etymology.
During the Suharto era, there were sections of the Indonesian Department of Education and Culture that researched and wrote reports on collected cerita rakyat.

This Saturday, “The Sopranos” star James Gandolfini married former model Deborah Lin in a quite intimate space in the bride’s hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii.
The ceremony, which lasted only 20 minutes, kept with the island locale. A harpist played “Hawaiian Wedding Song” as the newlyweds wore long, green leis around their necks. The bride, 40-years-old, walked down the aisle in a white, Italian lace gown.
Gandolfini, 46-years-old, made his first public appearance with Deborah Lin in March 2007, on the red carpet for the premiere of the final season of HBO series “The Sopranos,” back in New York. They have been engaged since the end of 2007.
The reception took place at a nearby resort, where James Gandolfini and Deborah Lin looked out onto the 200 guests in the wedding ballroom. “There were lots of white flowers on the tables and Gandolfini was beaming,” a source reported to People.
Gandolfini’s 8-year-old son, Michael, from his former marriage to Marcy Wudarsk, was the wedding’s best man.
James Gandolfini divorced Marcy Wudarski in December 2002 after three years of marriage. Gandolfini was also briefly engaged to Lora Somoza in 2004.
Currently, James Gandolfini is working on Tony Scott’s production “The Taking of Pelham 123.”, where he portrays the mayor of New York City.
The movie, also starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta, is based on the thriller novel by Morton Freedgood.
In the film, New York’s mayor, played by Gandolfini, is under a lot of pressure, as a group of criminals, led by John Travolta’s character, take over a subway train and threaten to kill the passengers if they are not paid. Denzel Washington plays a cop involved in stopping the hi-jackers. The movie is scheduled for release in July 2009.
Other projects blooming for Gandolfini involve Spike Jonze’s film “Where the Wild Things Are,” where the actor provides the voice for one of the Wild Things, and a drama directed by Philip Kaufman, where he will play the role of author Ernest Hemingway. The drama will also be produced by Gandolfini himself.

Mumbai, Sep 1: After striking gold at the olympics and carving a niche, it is time for Indians to hit the Forbes list also. Isha Ambani, 16 year old daughter of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, is the youngest of the top ten billionaire heiresses ranked by Forbes. Isha was ranked second in the list announced by the magazine recently. She is in the final year of her International Baccalaureate programme. Apart from academics, where she has been the recipient of several awards, she has varied interests in sports, arts, business and economy and international issues.
Topping the list is Vanisha Mittal Bhatia, daughter of Lakshmi Mittal, the fourth-richest person in the world as of March. Perhaps best known for the USD 60 million wedding her father threw for her in 2004, she now serves as a director on the board of dad's USD 103 billion (market cap) steel company, ArcelorMittal.
Her corporate involvement and small family -- she has only one brother -- puts her in good stead to inherit a sizable chunk of her father's fortune.
Isha, the only daughter of Mukesh Ambani, an Indian billionaire ranked fifth in the world, is second in the list. She is just a teenager but already has her own stake in the family's Reliance Industries, worth about USD 80 million.
Isha is actively involved in several pioneering initiatives in the school. She was the organizer and facilitator of 'Paigaam', an Indo-Pakistan peace conference organised by Dhirubhai Ambani International School students. It seeks to build a harmonious relationship with people from across the border, through the exchange of ideas and fact-based debate in the spirit of openness and mutual respect. This is a widely acclaimed unique initiative.
Forbes looked at the daughters of the 150 richest people, all of whom had a net worth of USD 6.4 billion or more in March when it last locked in fortunes (all ranks and net worths are from that time).
''Then we focused on those daughters who come from smaller families, with few or no siblings. Finally, we eliminated anyone whose mothers or fathers had already announced Carnegie-esqe philanthropic pledges,'' Forbes said .
Also making the cut are several heiresses who already play an active role in the family empire, a fact that appears to bode well for their chances of inheriting the business as well as a piece of the estate. Leading that group is Delphine Arnault-Gancia, the daughter of Bernard Arnault, the world's 13th richest man, who heads USD 50 billion (market cap) luxury goods behemoth LVMH. Delphine who sits on LVMH's board was named managing director of couture house Christian Dior in April, adding to her roles at sister brands Pucci and Loewe and positioning her as her father's likely successor.
Another one poised to inherit and lead is Marta Ortega Perez, daughter of Spanish retailer Amancio Ortega. She could choose to live a life of idle pleasures off her presumed cut of his USD 20.2 billion fortune, but instead she's being groomed to succeed him at the helm of fashion conglomerate Inditex.
Missing from these rankings are far more visible socialites like Paris Hilton or Amanda Hearst, whose relations to billionaires are more distant, and whose chance of inheriting the family fortune not as great. Even Paris' nightclub-appearance fees wouldn't bring her close to the ranks of these 10 women, the magazine said.
